2022 Ladies Drive

Penny A. and Cathy C. have arranged a wonderful weekend trip to beautiful Palisade, CO.  We'll be staying at the lovely Wine Country Inn located in the heart of Palisade and vineyards.  In addition to the Lavender Festival which is Saturday,  some fun things to do within walking distance iof the hotel are:

• Art galleries
• Farmers market stands
• Bakery and coffee shop
• Lavender shop
• Restaurants

The hotel is beautifully landscaped with a vineyard next door.  If you want to relax, the pool is lovely with a landscaped courtyard and jacuzzi as you gaze upon the Grand Mesa.  Afternoon wine tasting is offered at the hotel as well as a full breakfast in the beautiful lounge.  We picked this hotel because the atmosphere is so wonderful.  It’s a great place to unwind and treat yourself to a little Rest and Relaxation.  Rooms are $209 for a double Queen, with only 12 left.  They are booking quickly due to the popularity of the festival along with weddings and family reunions.  Penney is reserving five rooms with the idea of 2 people sharing a room. If we need more, we need to reserve them right away. 

Palisade does not have other hotels in the area, but there are several hotels in nearby Grand Junction, which is 20 minutes west of Palisade, should the Wine Country Inn sell out.  Or you can check out other Bed and Breakfasts or VRBO options if you choose.  

We will meet at the usual, Golden Loaf and Jug at 10:00 on June 24.   Palisade is about a four hour drive via I-70.
