Cherokee Ranch and Castle has a long and varied history dating back to the late 1800s. In 1924 a unique 1450s Scottish-style castle was built. Today the castle and ranch includes 3,400 acres of natural beauty and wildlife. Mildred Montague Genevieve Kimball, better known as Tweet Kimball, developed a unique breed of cattle that thrived in the Colorado landscape. Her legacy is recognized in the Santa Gertrude’s cattle, now bred all over the world.
We will begin with a special tea in the castle at 1:00 pm. The tea will include a seasonal menu, complete with scones with clotted cream and jam, finger sandwiches and pastries. A castle tour will follow, offering an intimate look at one of Colorado’s finest hidden gems, and all the treasures housed inside. We'll learn more about the legacy of the founder Tweet Kimball, and the history of the ranch.
This will be a wonderful opportunity to visit with other Miata ladies, and perhaps get to know some new ones.
We look forward to seeing you Friday, June 28th!
