I'm ready for a suspension upgrade on my stock 2006 Grand Touring (6 spd, LSD, non-Bilstein). This is strictly a street/mountain car, but chasing down Bobbi and her Lotus buddies on the Guanella Pass Drive gave me an itch that needs to be scratched.

I'd like a ride that's not much stiffer than stock, but with less lean in corners, and maybe lowered a bit. The Flyin' Miata Stage 2 Koni setup looks about right, or perhaps just coilovers, such as the MeisterR ZetaCRD.

I've researched the Miata.net forums but I find them equal parts information and confusion. I'd love to get some input from local folks. Even better, perhaps a test drive in exchanger for a coffee or beer?

It looks like a long, cold, Covid winter. I welcome some help deciding this project.
